PRINT AND CUT
Con il termine Print&Cut si intende una tecnica utilizzata sui plotter a marchio Silhouette per tagliare con estrema precisione il contorno di figure precedentemente stampate a parte con una stampante.
Vi ricordo che i plotter Silhouette non stampano, è necessario dunque per poter affrontare questo discorso munirsi di una stampante a colori.
Il formato che si arriva a ritagliare dipende dal formato di stampa massimo della vs stampante; mi spiego meglio, se volete ritagliare un immagine su foglio formato A3 dovete avere necessariamente una stampante che supporti questo formato. Sappiate comunque che anche con formato A4 si riescono a fare dei lavori stupendi.
I CROCINI DI REGISTRO
Nella stampa i crocini di registro o di taglio vengono inseriti allo scopo di allineare i contenuti e di guidare il taglio della carta. Vengono identificati tramite un piccolo lettore laser posto sotto il blocco lama dei plotter Silhouette.
COME PROCEDERE:
Apri la tua immagine Print & Cut in Silhouette Studio®.
Assicurati chela tua area di lavoro corrisponda al formato della carta (dimensioni media) su cui stamperai. Ed in caso non fosse così cambiali dal menù a tendina
Aggiungi i crocini di registro
Per aggiungere crocini di registro, fai clic sull’icona Impostazioni pagina situata lungo la barra degli strumenti di destra e seleziona l’immagine dei crocini di registro. Clicca su ON
Viceversa per toglierli dovrai cliccare su OFF
Una volta che il tuo progetto è pronto, stampalo sulla tua normale stampante facendo clic sull’icona Stampa in Silhouette Studio®. Assicurati di aver caricato correttamente il materiale, che si tratti di cartoncino o materiale speciale.
Posiziona il tuo materiale stampato sul tappeto da taglio e carica poi il tappeto nella tua Silhouette. Selezionare sulla schermata del computer, il materiale appropriato dall’elenco dei supporti nella scheda Invia e regolare le varie impostazioni di taglio se necessario.
Cliccare su invia in basso per mandare in taglio
A questo punto la tua Silhouette inizierà a scansionare la pagina cercando i crocini di registro stampati. Dopo aver trovato i segni di registrazione, la Silhouette procederà al taglio come al solito.
Una volta finito il taglio scarica il tappeto e dividi l’ immagine dal restante foglio.
